Game of Thrones (HBO): Season 1/Episode 4

1.4 Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things
Viserys becomes more and more impatient in his quest to regain the Iron Throne and unleashes his frustration on his sister. But Daenerys would have no more; she fights back and issues a stern warning that it would be the last time he would be hurting her. Ned continues his duties as the new Hand of the King and investigates the death of the man he replaced, discovering some secrets along the way. Jon Snow befriends Samwell Tarly (John Bradley), the fat and clumsy new recruit who gets bullied by the other trainees. Tyrion stops by Winterfell on his way back to King’s Landing and gives Bran a gift that would allow him to ride a horse despite being crippled by his accident. Feeling unwelcome by Ned’s eldest son, he chooses to spend the night in an inn where he runs into Cat and inadvertently blows her cover. She uses her knowledge of her father’s connections to warm up to the men in the inn, convincing them to seize Tyrion and bring him back to Winterfell for trial over the attempted murder of her son.

I love Lady Stark and I would love to see her in a catfight with the Queen because I think she could really give that incestuous bitch a run for her money. It is just unfortunate that she is barking up the wrong bonsai tree. Gimli has been so nice to your kid for crying out loud! What does the three-eyed crow symbolize by the way? That was quite freaky! What a boring episode, though, yet that ending was truly unexpected. I almost fell off my chair! Oh well, there is another interesting development: Goldilocks strikes back! It’s about time someone slapped big bro and made him realize that he is no king. All he ever does is whine and rant like a five-year old kid. Sometimes I wish Conan the Barbarian would just “accidentally” pummel him with a battle axe, or get mauled by a bi-polar Dothraki horse. He’s annoying like that. I hope he dies before Season One ends. Like, give up your kingly ambitions, dude. You’ll be more convincing doing shampoo commercials!

"I am a Khaleesi of the Dothraki. I am the wife of the great Khal and I carry his son inside me. The next time you raise a hand to me will be the last time you have hands." –Daenerys Targaryen
