Game of Thrones (HBO): Season 7/Episode 3

7.3 The Queen's Justice
Jon Snow and Ser Davos lay their eyes on Daenerys’ dragons for the very first time. She orders him to bend a knee. He warns her of the descent of the dead army. Melisandre‘s desire to flee Westeros and sail off to Volantis is seconded by Varys, but she tells him that she’ll eventually be back for her death, as well as his. Euron delivers his prisoners to Cersei. She gives the last remaining sand snake a poisonous kiss and bounds Ellaria next to her so she can watch her daughter’s slow death. A representative of the bank of Braavos arrives at King’s Landing. Bran and Sansa are reunited in Winterfell. Sam makes headway and considerably reverses Ser Jorah’s Grayscale. As the Unsullied attack Casterly Rock, they discover that just a portion of the Lannister army is there, because the rest is at Highgarden. As Olena Tyrrell’s army is decimated, Jaime pours her a vial of poisoned wine. After drinking it, she reveals how she is the brains behind Joffrey’s untimely demise. She looks him in the eye one last time and asks him to tell Cersei.

You have to give it to Queen B. To Lena Headey, I mean. She should win an Emmy for this role. Seriously. I think we all agree how Cersei is one badass bitch who deserves no sympathy but even at this point where she no longer even has a reason for any humanity to be left in her, you can still see a flash of it every now and then, even more so when the issue of her children is being brought up. She is winning the key battles early on, which means that this will not end well for her. But at least she is having fun. I see all of this as her last big Fuck You to everyone who has ever screwed up her life all the way from Season 1. I just feel bad to see Grandma Tyrell go, though. I’m thankful that they let the old hag "depart" without much violence. I mean, come on, how old is she? 301? Like, let the old woman go in peace. I am so gonna miss her no nonsense wisdom always delivered with her signature smirk laced with in-your-face sarcasm. Your move now, Dragon Mama. You surely didn’t come all the way here to bow down to Queen B, right?
