Game of Thrones (HBO): Season 7/Episode 7

7.7 The Dragon and the Wolf
As the grand meeting finally comes into fruition, so do unwanted reunions: Cersei and Tyrion; Euron and Theon; The Mountain and the Hound. As the wight emerges from his box and lunges at Cersei, they all realize that the threat is real. She eventually agrees to the truce and pledges her troops but has a totally different plan in mind, which upon Jamie’s discovery prompts him to abandon her once and for all. In Winterfell, Petyr Baelish’s crimes catch up with him as the Stark siblings reveal that they are the ones playing him all along. After Sansa comes up with a guilty verdict, Arya finishes him off with a quick dagger slash to the throat. Theon manages to rally his remaining men and vows to rescue Yara from Euron. Sam arrives in Winterfell, meets Bran, and they put two and two together regarding Jon Snow’s true lineage. The dead army arrives at the wall. The Night King, saddled on now blue fire-breathing Viserion’s back, attacks the wall, causing it to entirely collapse. Tormund and his gang flee as the undead march south undeterred.

Grand entrance as always, Dragon Mama. Queen B be like, WHAT THE FUCK, IS THAT A REAL DRAGON??? ARE YOU SHITTING ME RIGHT NOW??? But nothing could have prepared her for that zombie running to her with open arms screaming I WANT YOU TO BE MY MOMMMMIEEEE!!! That’s just too much Twilight Zone BS to process in one morning without the aid of wine or tequila, you know. I loved the Tyrion-Cersei private talk, though, because it felt genuine. Yeah, yeah, she lied but that’s just her being a biatch. So the dragon and the wolf-dragon finally ended up in bed. Welcome to Club Incest! About time, eh? You can cut that thick sexual tension in the air with Baby Girl Stark’s Valyrian steel dagger since these two met for the first time. Somewhere on that ship, Ser Jorah is sitting in a corner. Crying. We feel you, bruh. This is the beginning of the end. It just sucks that Winterfell is first on the list. Run, Stark children, RUN! Not you Brandon. Oh shit, they killed Hodor. Who’s gonna carry you now?

“When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.” –Sansa Stark
