Folge 14: Die Reisenden
Episode 14: The Travelers
24.06.2020. Charlotte meets the stranger and is no longer surprised that he is Jonas, after finding all of the time travel evidence earlier. Hannah thinks that Katharina should know where or when her husband and son are. Of course it is hard for her to understand everything at first, until her discovery of Mikkel’s school photo from 1986 at the school archives. Magnus, Martha, Franziska, and Elisabeth conduct their own investigation in the cave and find Bartosz there with the time maschine in his bag. They beat him up and leave him there tied up, while they take the time machine back home. Claudia googles herself and does research about what has happened in Winden in the last 30 years before traveling back to 1987. Jonas’ time travel worked, but he ends up in 1921, where he meets the young Noah and Agnes (Helena Pieske). Father Noah arrives later to introduce him to Adam. Adam shows Jonas the scar on his neck, which both of them have.
I am right. I am right. I aaaaaam riiiiiiiiight! Jonas is Adam. Voilà. I’m a bit disappointed, though, because I thought there would be more travelers. There were actually just two people in the room: Jonas, deformed Jonas, scary Noah, and naive Noah. Who really needs friends when there are already two of each person. My assumption about Claudia is wrong, though. She has now become a legit traveler, but something should happen that would prompt her impending disappearance from Winden of 1987. The apocalypse, perhaps? Nevertheless, I am satisfied with this episode because more and more characters are figuring out the truth. And because we are watching Dark, then their reactions should already be predestined. Now the plot can finally advance. My biggest question now is whether the apocalypse will happen in each cycle? How? The God particle is the reason for that, right? If an earlier cycle is destroyed, then the next could no longer exist, right?
