Folge 18: Enden und Anfänge

1921. Der jünge Noah wird als Reisender vorbereitet und nach 2020 geschickt. Der ältere Noah sieht endlich seinen Fehler ein, versucht Adam zu töten, scheitert, und wird von Agnes erschossen. 27.06.2020. Der Tag der Apokalypse. Katharina rennt zur Höhle, um den Weg zu Mikkel zu finden. Charlotte holt Clausen am AKW ein, der das Ausgraben der radioaktiven Fässer befiehlt. Das Gottesteilchen wird in der Luft freigesetzt und öffnet ein Portal zwischen den verschiedenen Zeitlinien. ,,Nur die Leute im Bunker überleben." Peter fährt mit Elisabeth zur Hütte. Der Fremde entführt Martha und sperrt sie dort ein, aber sie entkommt. Er geht danach zu den Nielsens, um Bartosz, Magnus und Franziska zu retten. Martha rennt zu den Kahnwalds zurück, findet aber 2020-Jonas da. Er ist mit 1987-Claudia aus 1987 nach 2020 gereist, um die Apokalypse zu verhindern. Jonas und Martha küssen sich, aber Adam kommt plötzlich aus 1921 an und erschießt Martha. Als sie im Sterben liegt, erscheint ihr anderes Ich mit schwarzen Haare aus dem Nichts und rettet Jonas mithilfe einer kugelförmigen Zeitmaschine, kurz bevor Winden untergeht.

5 Zeitlinien und nun haben wir auch ein Paralleluniversum? Ich sollte überrascht sein, aber das hier ist Dark, Leute. Meine Frage jetzt ist: Werden die Leute im Bunker wirklich überleben? Die künftige Elisabeth hat ein entstelltes Gesicht, nicht wahr? Regina wird wegen Krebs ohnehin sterben, hat aber zumindest ihre Mutter erneut gesehen. Wohin wird der Fremde die drei Jugendlichen bringen? Ich bin der Meinung, sie werden auch überleben, aber wo werden sie landen? Das Paralleluniversum ist noch eine neue interessante Welt zu erkunden. Vielleicht sind Jonas und Martha dort nicht verwandt. Die Hauptfrage ist, wie können die Drehbuchautoren all unsere Fragen in nur 8 Episode lösen? Die zweite Staffel war so kurz. Ich hätte gern mehr davon erlebt. Ich freue mich aber für Martha. Außer Weinen hat sie eigentlich seit der ersten Staffel nicht so viel getan hat. Nun wird sie von einer Jungfrau in Nöten in eine Heldin verwandelt. Es reizt mich, wie anders das Paralleluniversum wäre! Noch eine weitere Pilot-Folge!

Episode 18: Endings and Beginnings

1921. The young Noah is prepped as a traveler and is sent to 2020. The older Noah finally realizes his mistake, tries to kill Adam, fails, and is shot dead by Agnes. June 27, 2020. Day of the Apocalypse. Katharina runs back to the cave to find the way back to Mikkel. Charlotte catches up with Clausen at the nuclear power plant. He orders the unearthing of the radioactive barrels. The God Particle is released into the air and opens a portal between different timelines. “Only the people in the bunker will survive.” Peter drives to the hut with Elizabeth. The stranger kidnaps Martha and locks her in the hut, but she escapes. He then heads to the Nielsens to save Bartosz, Magnus, and Franziska. Martha runs back to the Kahnwalds but instead finds 2020 Jonas there. He has traveled back from 1987 to 2020 with 1987 Claudia to try to prevent the apocalypse. Jonas and Martha kiss, but Adam suddenly arrives from 1921 and shoots Martha. As she lay dying, another Martha with black hair appears out of nowhere and rescues Jonas via a spherical time machine right before Winden perishes.

5 timelines and now we also have a parallel universe? I should be surprised, but this is Dark, guys. My question now is: Will the people in the bunker really survive? Future Elisabeth has a deformed face, right? Regina will die from cancer anyway, but at least she got to see her mother again. When will the stranger take the three teens? I suppose that they will also survive, but where will they end up? The parallel universe is yet another interesting world to explore. Perhaps Jonas and Martha are not related there. The big question is, how can the screenwriters resolve all of our questions in just 8 episodes? The second season was so short. I would have wanted to experience more of it. I am, however, happy for Martha. Aside from crying, she hasn’t actually done anything more than cry since the first season. Now she gets to transform from damsel in distress to heroine. How different the parallel universe would be excites me! Yet another pilot episode!
