Episodio 21: Heliconia (Fertilidad)
Elena pierde su trabajo después de que Claudio le dice a la Chiquis lo de ellos. Para colmo Simón ya no habla con ella. Diego quiere formar una familia feliz con Julián pero no quiere adoptar un hijo. Habla con Elena y le propone a ella la inseminación artificial. Así que será su hijo pero con la sangre de la Mora. Sufriendo una crisis existencial, Elena vacila un poco pero finalmente acuerdan los dos hasta que sepan el costo del procedimiento. El médico sugiere la manera normal: el coito. Los dos van a un motel y descubren cosas en común con respecto al sexo. Paulina duerme con Alejo y persigue su plan de manipular una de las drag queens para que haga una denuncia contra Diego. Llegan en el cabaret y lo llevan esposado a la comisería de policía. Micaela está eliminada en la penúltima ronda de Talento México y echa la culpa a Bruno por dar el vestido que debe ser para ella a una participante que le gusta la cual avanza a la ronda final por engañar a todos via la sincronización de voz.
Lo mejor de este episodio el la ausencia de Ernesto. ¡Qué alivio! Sin embargo, aún tenemos eso de Micaela. Hija, ya perdió dos veces, ¿no? Ya regresa a tu habitación y no salgas más por dos o tres temporadas hasta que tengas una historia más interesante a contarnos. La historia de fondo de Rosita nos interesaría más, neta. Debe tener una buena excusa para querer ser famosa a diferencia de Micaela que no tiene nada. No eres una huérfana, hija. Tu papá aún vive. En vez de acostarse con Jenny Quetzal en la cama de su mujer, debe estar ocupándose de ti. De esa manera a lo mejor encontrará un buen y verdadero propósito de su vida. Paulina ya ha exigido finalmente la revancha contra Diego pero algo me dice que nunca será totalmente feliz. Pero basta ya con su drama, ¿no? Lo de Elena y Diego no lo esperaba de verdad. Es un poco absurdo pero me interesa más porque era algo impredecible y da paso a conflictos potenciales entre Elena y Julián.

Elena loses her job after Claudio tells the Chiquis girl all about them. To make matters worse, Simón is not talking to her anymore. Diego wants to start a happy family with Julián but doesn’t want to adopt a child. He speaks to Elena and proposes artificial insemination. As such, it will be his child but with de la Mora blood. Suffering from an existential crisis, she hesitates a bit before they finally agree, until they find out the cost of the procedure. The doctor suggests the normal way: coitus. The two go to a motel and discover things in common with regards to sex. Paulina sleeps with Alejo and pursues her plan to manipulate one of the drag queens into filing a complaint against Diego. They arrive at the cabaret and arrest him, taking him to the police station in handcuffs. Micaela is eliminated at the second to the last round of Mexico’s Got Talent and blames Bruno for giving the dress meant for her to another contestant that he fancies. That contestant advances to the final round by cheating through lip sync.
The best thing about this episode is Ernesto’s absence. What a relief! But then we still have Micaela’s subplot. Girl, you already lost twice, right? Now go back to your room and don’t come out anymore for two or three seasons until you have a better story to tell us. Rosita’s backstory seems more interesting, to be honest. She must have a good excuse for wanting to be popular as opposed to Micaela who has nothing. You are not an orphan, little girl. Your dad is alive. Instead of sleeping with Jenny Quetzal on his wife’s bed, maybe he should be taking care of you. That way maybe he’ll find a good and genuine purpose in life. Paulina has finally exacted her revenge against Diego, but something tells me that she will never really be totally happy. But enough of her drama, right? That of Elena and Diego was something I didn’t really expect. It’s a bit absurd but I find it interesting because it was unpredictable and gives way to potential conflicts between Elena and Julián.
