Episodio 22: Pensamiento (Reflexion)
El abogado de la familia lee el testamento de Virginia. Delia se encarga de la casa mientras que el anillo de bisabuelo debe ser devuelto a Diego por si acaso vuelva con Julián. Ernesto intenta recuperarlo de Jenny pero ella ya lo ha regalado a alguien. Él recobre el sentido común y por fin la expulsa de la casa. Alejo al cual Virginia se refiere como su novio va a recibir el resto del dinero de la cuenta bancaria en Houston. Paulina lo confronta sobre todo incluso de dónde sacó su mamá el dinero para el tratamiento en Houston. Él le dice a ella que se le dio Pato. Pato resulta ser Diego mismo. Arrepentida, ella se entrega a la policía y toma el lugar de Diego en la cárcel. Con su inocencia, Diego vuelve con Julián y los dos viven felices juntos. Elena queda embarazada del hijo de Diego. Dice adiós a Simón para siempre y va a la final de Talento México para ver cantar Micaela pero su auto choca con lo de Jenny la cual está en fuga. A punto de ser demolida, la florería está salvada con la llegada de la mamá de Virginia quien la ha comprado.
Por fin acaba la segunda temporada pero sin el mismo entusiasmo de la primera. En este momento ya no estoy seguro si aún quiera ver la tercera. La resolución de los argumentos parece apurada y hay cosas que se pueden predecir a muchos metros de distancia. Sin embargo aún tengo preguntas. ¿De dónde sacó Diego todo ese dinero y se lo robó de la familia, cómo lo perdonó Virginia tan fácilmente? ¿Realmente amó Alejo Virginia? ¿Paulina? ¿Qué tiene la hermana weirdo de María José? ¿Van a debatir el tema del incesto en la tercera temporada? Por lo menos se ha aclarado el motivo de Micaela por inscribirse al concurso, elle quiere ganar para comprar la florería. Al final de cuentas todo es una cuestión de familia, no importa si sea por la sangre o por el corazón. Sin embargo eso no es una buena excusa para el aburrimiento que ha sido esta temporada. Ahora queda claro por qué tiene no más de 9 episodios. Ojalá que rescaten la serie con una buena tercera temporada y que sea tan interesante como la primera.
Episode 22: Pansy (Reflection)
The family lawyer reads Virginia’s will. Delia’s left in charge of the mansion while the heirloom ring must be returned to Diego if he gets back together with Julián. Ernesto tries to get it from Jenny but she already gave it to someone. He goes back to his senses and finally evicts her. Referred to by Virginia as her boyfriend, Alejo will receive the the money left in the Houston bank account. Paulina confronts him about everything including where her mother got the money for her treatment in Houston. He tells her that it was given by Pato. Pato turns out to be Diego himself. Full of regrets, she turns herself in at the police station and takes Diego’s place in prison. With his innocence, Diego gets back with Julián and the two live together happily. Elena gets pregnant with Diego’s child. She gets rid of Simón for good and heads to the finals of Mexico’s Got Talent to watch Micaela sing but her car crashes with Jenny’s, who is now a fugitive. The flower shop is saved from demolition with the arrival of Virginia’s mom, who has just bought it.
At last we’re done with the second season but without the same excitement as the first. At this moment I’m not really sure whether I still want to see the third. The plot resolutions seem rushed and there are predictable ones that can be seen from a mile away. In any case I still have questions. Where did Diego get all that money and if he indeed stole it from the family, how did Virginia forgive him so easily? Did Alejo really love Virginia? Paulina? What’s María José’s weirdo sister’s glitch? Are they going to tackle incest in the third season? At least Micaela’s reason for joining the contest is made clear, she wants to win to buy the flower shop back. At the end of the day it all boils down to family regardless if by blood or by heart. Nevertheless, it is still not a good excuse for the utter boredom that this season has been. It is now clear why there are no more than 9 episodes. Hopefully they could still redeem the show with a good third season and may it be as interesting as the first.
