#DarnaLuna

Darna arrives to interfere with Valentina’s attack on one of her enemies. It can be noticed that Valentina can now match Darna even though she still chooses to flee in the end and murder an innocent beggar without reason. Even then, Ali is always just there to hide the bodies. While Darna searches for Valenina, it is her turn to get attacked by the female Martean. The two end up in a duel which Darna dominates. The woman introduces herself as Luna (Kira Balinger) who turns out to be the fighter Zora was training in Marte before. Luna confesses that she treated Zora as her own mother and that she was supposed to be the next protector of the stone. After introducing herself as Zora’s daughter, Narda takes Luna home and introduces her to Ding and grandma Roberta. The two agree to cooperate so Luna can finish her mission of collecting the Krisalis and bringing it back to Marte. #DarnaLuna
How fast did it take for Darna and Luna to become friends, huh? Even though there are traces of jealousy because Darna was chosen as the new protector of the stone instead of her, it seems that these two don’t really have any other reason to quarrel. It’s been some time that we’ve been yearning for an ally for Darna who also has powers. It’s just that, Valentina can be knocked out by Darna alone, what more now that she has to face two enemies? We can admit that her fighting skills have indeed improved so we know that at least her training with Ali is doing her good. I still can’t understand her reasons, though. Darna defeated her so she suddenly murders a beggar to show that she is strong? Her line of thinking seems to be the polar opposite of Regina’s. If they are doing this to demonstrate her gradual loss of humanity then perhaps we can conclude that they are successful in doing so. If not, then her way of thinking is just not that plausible. #DarnaLuna
–Luna
