Darna: Episode 90

90. Frenemy

Magtutungo si Ishna sa pinagtataguan nila Noah at Andre at aanyayahan niya ang dalawa upang makipagkita sa isang tao na maaring tumulong sa kanila. Magigising naman si Regina sa isang bangungot kung saan makikita niya ang sarili bilang si Darna na nakagayak pandigma na kulay luntian sa halip na pula. Inis itong haharap sa salamin at ipagmamalaki sa sarili na siya si Valentina, hindi si Darna. Hindi naman titigil si Narda sa paghahanap sa kaibigan at lalapitan nito si Rex sa magkaibang pagkakataon: isa bilang si Narda; at isa bilang si Darna. Kaya naman susulsulan pa lalo ni Rex ang anak at lalasunin ang isip nito laban kay Narda dahil sa tingin niya ay sagabal ito sa kanyang balak na yakapin ni Regina ang kanyang pagiging Valentina. Magbubunga naman ang kakulitan ni Narda at matatawagan nito si Regina na sasabihan siyang magkita sila kung saan nagsimula ang lahat. Pagdating ni Narda sa bangin ay sasalakayin siya ng kaibigan bilang Valentina at maiiwang walang malay doon. #DarnaFrenemy

Panaginip lang naman pala. Inuuto lang talaga nila tayo. Gayunpaman may pagkakataon nga kaya na maging Darna si Regina? Hindi naman kasi niya kinuha yung bato nung nahulog ni Narda at kung makuha man niya, paano naman niya malalaman ang dapat gawin dun di ba? Sa pakita naman mukhang hindi rin naman niya nasaktan ng malala si Narda. Mahirap din ipaliwanag ito kapag nagkataon dahil di ba namimili yung bato ng tagapangalaga niya? Ayos na rin naman at nasilayan natin si Regina na nakagayak Darna subalit sa tingin ko ay huwag na rin nga nila ituloy. Pagsabungin niyo na silang dalawa nang matapos na ito. Aabangan ko rin kung ano ang kahihinatnan nila Noah at Andre ngunit wala talaga akong makitang mabigat na dahilan nitong dalawa upang tuluyang maging masama. Tila naglalaro lang talaga sila na parang mga bata kaya sa tingin ko ay babaliktad din silang dalawa sa huli at kakampi kay Darna. Tignan na lang atin. #DarnaFrenemy

90. Frenemy

Ishna heads over to the hideout of Noah and Andre and invites the duo to meet up with one person who might be able to help them. Meanwhile, Regina wakes up from a nightmare where she is Darna but garbed in a green costume instead of red. Annoyed, she reassures herself in front of the mirror reasserting that she is Valentina and not Darna. Narda, on the contrary, never stops searching for her friend and even approaches Rex on different occasions: once as Narda; another time as Darna. Because of this, Rex poisons his daughter’s mind even more against Narda because he believes she is getting in the way of his plans for Regina to fully embrace Valentina. Narda’s persistence bears fruit when Regina finally calls her and asks her to meet her where everything began. When Narda arrives at the cliff, Regina attacks her as Valentina and leaves her unconscious there. #DarnaFrenemy

So it’s just a dream after all. They are really just teasing us now aren’t they? Even then, could there stlil be a chance for Regina to become Darna? She did not snatch the stone after all when Narda dropped it and even if she did retrieve it, how would she know what to do with it, right? In the previews, it seems like she didn’t get to hurt Narda that badly anyway. It would be difficult to explain this should they pursue this subplot because the stone chooses who is worthy of it. Well, at least we saw Regina as Darna somehow but I guess they should really not push through with this subplot anymore. Just let them have a go at each other already so we can end all of this. I will just wait what Noah and Andre will end up being but I really don’t see any compelling reason for the two of them to go full evil. To be honest they really just look like children playing around which is why I’m guessing that they will defect and side with Darna eventually. Let’s wait and see. #DarnaFrenemy
