117. Defense Mode

Tuloy pa rin ang pagpapalakas ni Borgo sa kanyang mga Super Soldiers sa pamamagitan ng pagsasaksak sa kanila ni Ishna ng kung anumang ginawa nilang pampalakas ng kapangyarihan. Tuloy din ang pagbabalak ni Hergis na tumakas ngunit hindi pa niya magawa. Bibigyan naman nila Narda at Richard ng kaalaman anag mga taongbayan kung paano labanan ang mga ahas ni Valentina sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng Sulfur at Ammonia. Madali lang naman itong malalampasan ni Valentina. Matapos ang kanyang panggugulo sa Cosplay Fair ay sa baranggay naman siya nila Narda susugod at magkakalat ng lagim. Habang abala ang lahat sa pagtataboy ng kanyang mga ahas, maghaharap naman sila Narda at Valentina at maglalaban subalit mabilis na matatalo si Narda at mapapatumba ng kalaban. Paulit-ulit niyang sasabihin sa kaibigan na hindi niya tunay na ama ang nahulog sa bangin ngunit hindi siya nito papansinin. #DarnaDefenseMode

Bukod sa walang kamatayang pagbabalik-tanaw, isa pang ginagamit nila ay ang pag-ulit ng huling mga pakita ng nakaraang kabanata bilang panimula ng bagong kabanata. Mukhang tinatamad na talaga. Parang hirap din dahil hanggang ngayon ay may mga kuha pa rin gamit ang Green Screen. Ang maganda lang ngayon ay umuusad na tayo kahit paano dahil sumalakay na sa wakas si Valentina sa Nueva Esperanza at tila ginamit niya ang utak niya sa pagkakataong ito dahil natalo niya si Narda. Yun nga lang, si Narda yun e. Kung si Darna kaya ang nakalaban niya nanalo pa rin kya siya? Pati mga nagko-Cosplay pinapatulan na rin niya ngayon kahit a maganda rin naman ang pakita na yun dahil mararamdaman mo ang inggit at galit sa puso ni Valentina dahil hindi talaga siya matanggap ng mga tao kaya marahil ay ganyan na lang ang inis niya. Sana malakalaban din niya yung mga Super Soldiers ni Borgo. Bakbakan talaga ang inaabangan nating lahat dito e. #DarnaDefenseMode

117. Defense Mode

Borgo carries on with the strengthening of his Super Soldiers with Ishna injecting them with whatever it is they came up with to fortify their powers. Hergis also keeps on planning to escape but can’t find the right timing. Meanwhile, Narda and Richard give everyone info on how to repel Valentina’s snakes by using sulfur and ammonia. Valentino manages to skirt around these quite easily. After her rampage at the cosplay fair, she finally takes her brand of terror to Narda’s village. While everyone is busy trying to repel her snakes, Valentina and Narda face off but Narda is easily defeated by her enemy. She constantly reiterates that the guy who fell down the ravine is not her real father but she is repeatedly ignored. #DarnaDefenseMode

Aside from the endless barrage of flashbacks, another delaying tactic they have been using lately is to show the final clips of the previous episode as an extension of the new episode as some sort of refresher. It looks like they are indeed getting lazier by the day. They seem to be having a hard time because up to now we can still see some Green Screen scenes. What’s good is that at least we get to move forward now for a bit as Valentina finally attacks Nueva Esperanza, and it looks like she is using her brain now because she gets to defeat Narda. But that’s the catch right there. It’s Narda. If she faced off with Darna instead, would she have been successful? She even attacks Cosplayers nowadays, which is good in a way because we get to see her insecurities surface as a reflection of her anger and envy, maybe because she isn’t accepted by everyone which leads to her meltdowns. I hope she gets to duke it out with Borgo’s Super Soldiers as well. We are just waiting for all of you to beat each other up, to be honest. #DarnaDefenseMode
